Al utilizar el kit portátil en un kayak, el soporte opcional para transductor en el caso del kayak fija el transductor de doble haz Garmin (77/200 kHz), el CHIRP (77/200 kHz) o el transductor GT20-TM (77/200 kHz/ClearVü) al kayak. Este soporte puede soportar la inmersión continua en el agua sin soltarse, al mismo tiempo que protege el transductor dentro del kayak.
